YOUR FIRST JOB
From your first client to a finished report. Keep this guide open while you try it.
Practise with sample dataThe demo keeps practice changes on your device and sends no reminder emails.
Use your TTAG email and password. Confirm your email if prompted—you can open that email on another device. Tap your initials at the top to check your contractor name and licence number. Use Edit if they need changing.
If you’ve been offered free pilot access, contact Jono to arrange it before entering card details. The normal signup offers a card-backed trial.
Open Clients → Add client. Enter the client’s name and, if you want reminders, their email address. Open the client → Add site, then enter the site name, address and default test interval.
A client can have several sites. Each site has its own asset register and item numbering.
Open the site and tap Start job. Check the job name and date. If wanted, choose a next-test reminder: 3 months, 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. Then tap Start shared job.
For completed jobs with a reminder selected, TTAG schedules emails to the client and contractor account owner two weeks before the chosen date. This reminder is separate from each asset’s next-test date.
Tap Add new asset. Enter its description and physical tag number, then check the test date and suggested next-test date. Choose Visual PASS or FAIL. Add any measurements, notes or a proof-of-tag photo you need.
TTAG assigns the item number. Enter the physical tag number yourself for each test—any tags can be used. You can override the next-test date.
Tap Save & Next and continue through the job. For an item already on the site register, use Find asset to retest it. Its previous test types reappear for you to enter fresh results.
Items already tested in this job disappear from Find asset to help avoid duplicates. Visual PASS sets the result to PASS unless you manually mark it FAIL. Measurements do not automatically decide the result.
When all results are recorded and saved, tap Finish job, review the summary and confirm. On Job Complete, open the report preview and use its PDF download or sharing options. You can return to completed jobs through Jobs.
The job report contains the tests recorded in that job. Photos stay with the test records and are not included in the PDF. To see an asset’s full history, open Clients → client → site → select the asset in the register.
On the dashboard or in your account menu, choose Report a problem / Suggest a feature. Tell us what you were doing and add a screenshot if it helps.
